Archers Clinch Two Seed and First Round Bye

The Archers would strike first with Michael "The Dachshund" Malarowski on a high finish, and double the lead when a pretty odd-man rush was completed on a one-timer by Dan Seminara from Greg "The Chairman" Chierchie. The Vudoos got on the board when Mark Schwanda made a rush down the wing, halving his team's deficit, but Pete Sztankovits was on the end of another fantastic Archers' goal, when he would be helped by The Chairman and Seminara. Now up 3-1, the Archers added another with Sztankovits unassisted, but the Vudoos would pull back two late second period goals: Tom "Godzilla" Godon, and Stephen Pavoni when he would go in on a breakaway from Mike Cenatiempo, Sr., and Mark Schwanda. All of a sudden, the Archers were only up one, but they would quell the Vudoos' momentum by canceling out their pair of goals, with a pair of their own: The Chairman from Seminara, and The Chairman unassisted. For good measure, Sztankovits would complete his hat trick to put the game further out of reach, although the Vudoos would get a late consolation goal with Pavoni on a breakaway.
