Dachshund Stretches Archers to Victory with Four Goals

The Archers jumped out of the gate with pressure on the Vudoos, resulting in a goal by Michael "The Dachshund" Malarowski, who would wrist the puck on target, follow his rebound, and score. Following The Dachshund's lead, Greg "The Chairman" Chierchie would hit the Vudoos when he went low for his goal, which would be followed by The Dachshund's second goal, which was a high pinpoint laser. The Archers were comfortably ahead, now 3-0, but the Vudoos chewed into their deficit when Mark Schwanda used his magic wand(a), with a turnaround shot from the slot, then Patrick Brake would score with 14 seconds on the clock to halve the Vudoos' deficit, flipping the momentum in this game around, with it now a one goal game, for the second period.

The Chairman was on the prowl for more goals, and would notch his second with a pretty deke that would be on any highlight reel, and it was again a two goal game. Brake would narrow the Vudoos' deficit to one with another goal, and it was 4-3 Archers going into the third period.

An immediate Vudoos goal, Mike Cenatiempo, Jr. who one-timed in from John "The Rosebud" before Brake would pair up with The Rosebud, hitting his flowery pal in an open field of play, for him to get their first lead of the night. Now down 5-4, the Archers would level it when The Dachshund bundled in a rebound from Jason Fischbach and "Kit" Kat Dziadosz, for his hat trick, then would follow this eight seconds later for his fourth goal, and it was 6-5 Archers. Brake would answer with his hat trick goal, and the Vudoos would now be on equal footing, but not for long because Fischbach got himself a breakaway on which he emphatically scored, wristing in, and it was 7-6 Archers. The Archers would then score another when The Chairman completed his hat trick with help from Pete Sztankovits, and at 8-6, that would hold for the final score
