Pterodactyls Chomp Vudoos

The first period of play was dictated by the Pterodactyls right from the start of the game. Jacky Morin scored an unassisted goal a minute into the game giving his team the 1-0 lead. Later on the in the period the Pterodactyls would extend that lead by two making it 3-0. That third goal scored by #12 Ethan Lim using his speed and driving hard to the net. To make it worse for Vudoos, Adam Crandall would score his first of the game to give the Pterodactyls a 4-0 lead with a minute left in the first. Scores would stand, Pterodactyls lead 4-0 going into the second.

Vudoos would come out stronger in the second period peppering the opposing team's goalie with shots.Finally, a bounce would go Vudoos way with #4 Mark Schwanda scoring making it 4-1. Forward, Adam Crandall, would respond with a powerplay goal to extend the lead to 5-1. That would be Crandall`s second of the night, with an assist to his name also. Pterodactyls would hold that 5-1 lead going into the third.

Crandall would complete his hattrick early in the last period of play giving the Pterodactyls a 6-1 lead. Vudoos haven't been playing well at all on this Sunday night. Nothing seemed to be going their way in this game. #64 Tony Gesumaria would score late in the third for the Pterodactyls putting them up 7-1, making this a running clock game with the 6-goal difference. Vudoos night not getting better. Schwanda would stop that running clock scoring his second of the game with a beautiful wrister but would inevitably just be a consolation goal. There would be no time for Vudoos to make a comeback run this late into the third. Pterodactyls would finish the game with a 8-2 Victory over Vudoos. Your Buffalo Wild Wings Man of the Match with 3 goals and an assist would be Pterodactyls leading scorer Adam Crandall.
