Peterson Wins MotM

Pete Peterson held the high octane Brewers to two goals against, backboning a fantastic night for the Vudoo. Petereson would hold Division II leading's scorer Adam Sklar to 1G, 1A, and the second leading scorer Alex Miragaya to nothing. Peterson would stop Miragaya on a breakaway, but the Vudoo would surrender the first goal when Sklar assisted Greg Shiff. Peterson would then utilize his pads by sliding across the crease to make many saves, then was forced to use his upper body when the Brewers changed their strategy.

The Brewers were ahead, but stagnating at 1-0, then a Tom "Godzilla" Godon blast would tie it. Unable to do much after Godzilla's equalizer, the Brewers fell behind on Ray "Ziesse's Peanut Butter Cup" Ziesse's snipe from Grace "The Ace" Dimock. Peterson was still strong in net, gloving a Paul Mennona slapper, which was followed by a Ziesse goal from Mark Schwanda. Schwanda increased the lead to 4-1, Sklar immediately scored, and "King" George Dimock would go sit for a trip. Peterson was up to the task while the Vudoo were short, and continued to frustrate the Brewers, in what would be a 4-2 Vudoo win.

The Buffalo Wild Wings Man of the Match Award was won by Pete Peterson, two goals against.
