Laskowski Man of Match with Excellent Goaltending

9-3 was the final of this one and Mat Laskowski was the Buffalo Wild Wings Man of the Match for his outstanding performance between the pipes for the Sewer Rats. He started off by stoning Mark Schwanda on his breakaway, utilizing his paddle in a last ditch effort, then Matt Bushman would put his netminder and team ahead 1-0 with a fantastic finish. The Vudoo would go shorthanded after Gary Len's trip, but would tie it at even strength when Mark Schwanda got revenge on Laskowski from "King" George Dimock. It became 2-1 when Chris Mazza assisted one of his Sewer Rats pals, 3-1 followed, but The Ace would be the second member of the Vudoo to get revenge on Laskowski, and it was now 3-2. Eric Vogt canceled out The Ace's finish when he deked on a breakaway and roofed one, and Laskowski continued to flash the leather, with a glove, then blocker save on Pat Morrison. Eric "Bogus" Rogus got it to 5-2 from Troy Lipani, then Bushman assisted the next, and it was 6-2. Mark Schwanda and a Sewer Rat would have their nights end early with roughing and game misconducts, as the Sewer Rats got another goal, then another through Bushman. The Sewer Rats' next goal was assisted by Boris Raizberg, and while the Vudoo would finish with one more goal, it would not dampen the evening for the Sewer Rats, who were now in third place with a realistic chance to finish as high as second and a slim chance to finish first.
