Vudoo Win Breaks Tie Between Bottom Dwellers

The Hooligans and Vudoo occupy the bottom two places in the league table, each with seven points, and the Hooligans ahead only on fewer penalty minutes.

After there was some confusion about referees due somebody, the game was underway, which began with a Hooligans goal by Jacky Morin from Max White. The lead would not last long due to a James Woods-Corwin slapper from Ray "Ziesse's Peanut Butter Cup" Ziesse, before Mark Schwanda got the Vudoo in front from Randy Stitt. It would be 3-1 after another goal by Woods-Corwin from Ziesse's Peanut Butter Cup, which was followed by his hat trick goal on a setup from Tom "Godzilla" Godon and Grace "The Ace" Dimock. The Vudoo ended the period with a Ziesse goal from Woods-Corwin, taking this one 5-1 into the second period.

Mike Leong's hook put the Hooligans down a man, and a power play goal by Godzilla from The Ace punished him, but the Hooligans would get a power play after King George Dimock's cross check. The Hooligans would not replicate a power play goal like the Vudoo did, but White and Mike Leong each scored at even strength to end the third with it 6-3.

The Vudoo would quell the Hooligans' hopes for a comeback with a Schwanda goal, but White completed his hat trick for maybe a late frantic finish. White would add another goal, but the Vudoo would win 7-5.

James Woods-Corwin, with a hat trick, and Ray "Ziesse's Peanut Butter Cup" Ziesse (1G, 2A) won the Buffalo Wild Wings Man of the Match Award.
