Perfect Pete Peterson Earns Shutout

James Woods-Corwin put the Vudoo in front on a great play from George Dimock and Gary Len increased the lead on Dan Scerra's pass. Pete Peterson was keeping the Vudoo out as his men continued their attack, with Kurt "The Sidewinder" Seidel scoring a natural hat trick for 5-0. The Sidewinder's first goal was a one timer from Scerra, which was followed by him slithering through the Vudoo defense, utilizing his fantastic stick handling. When Jim Schwanda went off for interference, Peterson had a chance to display his leather, which he did, stoning the Rink Rats from point black range. At even strength, Ray "Ziesse's Peanut Butter Cup" Ziesse finished from Woods-Corwin, then Eric Dultz went off for interference. The Vudoo did not score on their power play, but Ziesse got another at even strength, in a 7-0 Vudoo win.

Full marks to Pete Peterson, who earned his first shutout of the season, and Kurt "The Sidewinder" Seidel, who had a natural hat trick; they each took home half of the Hockey Haus Man of the Match Award. Honorable mention for tonight's honor goes to Ray "Ziesse's Peanut Butter Cup" Ziesse (2G), James Woods-Corwin (1G, 1A), and Dan Scerra (2A).
