Len and Ziesse Each Score Two in Vudoo Win

Pat Vogt scored to put the Sewer Rats ahead, but Gary Len was there to even it up with a nifty finish. Fred Hoth was able to put the Vudoo up, which was followed by a Tom Godon goal for a 3-1 lead. A Sewer Rats goal came to get them to down 3-2, but Len's slap shot put the Vudoo up by two yet again. Ray "Ziesse's Peanut Butter Cup" Ziesse scored a pair for a 6-2 Vudoo lead, but Ken Meyer was able to score the Sewer Rats' third goal. Joey Nicastro's goal meant the Sewer Rats were now down by two, with all the momentum. Clearly with the better of the chances at this point, the Sewer Rats could not yet get closer. Their comeback hopes were severely hampered when, Boris Raizberg and Eric Rogus were called for roughing. Two minutes ticked off the clock, and even though the Vudoo did not score on their two man advantage, they scored at even strength when Mark Schwanda found the net in a 7-4 Vudoo win.
Gary Len and Ray Ziesse each scored two goals and were named the co-winners of the Hockey Haus Man of the Match Award.
