Woods-Corwin's Hat Trick Wins it for Vudoo

The Vudoo began a busy fortnight, finally making up their games in hand, which unfortunately for them, began with Milton Solis, of Ooff!, scoring the first goal of this one. 1:09 later, Vudoo's leading scorer, James Woods-Corwin, tied it. Another Solis goal, this time from Rich Hernandez put Ooff! back in front. Ray "Ziesse's Peanut Butter Cup" Ziesse, was sent off for slashing, and the Vudoo would go down a man. On the penalty kill, Woods-Corwin scored his second, and Will Dimock got his first, putting their team ahead with two shorthanded goals.
The second period began with a 3-2 Vudoo lead, but Ryan Amann levelled things with some quick moves. Now 3-3, Jim Schwanda registered an assist, when he set up Woods-Corwin, who completed his hat trick. Schwanda then got a goal of his own, and the Vudoo went into the third with a 5-3 lead.
It stayed at 5-3 for much of the third, but Chris Fagan brought Ooff! down one. 33 seconds later, Dimock scored his second, and Vudoo took a 6-4 lead. The evening was finished with a goal by Ziesse's Peanut Butter Cup, with Schwanda earning his second assist, in a 7-4 Vudoo win.
James Woods-Corwin (3G) and Mark Schwanda (1G, 2A) were named Co-Hockey Haus Man of the Match Award Winners. Honorable mention goes to Will Dimock (2G).
