Godon Scores Twice as Vudoo Defeat Archers

The Vudoo were hoping for a win in this game against the Archers to turn their season around. James Woods-Corwin scored in the early moments to quickly put them ahead, and Tom Thrun doubled the lead about five minutes in.

The Archers put up a fight in the second period with Adam "Manhandle" Crandall cutting the lead in half two minutes in. However, Dan Scerra regained the two-goal lead with a minute and a half to go in the period. Before the second period came to a close, captain Jason Fischbach brought the Archers back within a goal.

Six minutes into the third, Tom Godon scored to make it 4-2. He then added another goal just three minutes later to create a three-goal difference. Ray Ziesse made it 6-2 with three minutes to go, and Kurt Seidel opened up a 7-2 lead thirty seconds later. Fischbach added another game before the final buzzer, but it was only cosmetic as the Vudoo went on to win this game by the final of 7-3.
