Vudoos Fall In Shoot Out

This was the first meeting of these two teams this season and it did not disappoint, an absolute nail-biter until the very end.

The first period started with an early goal from the Sewer Rats' Eric Vogt at 11:23. Vudoo would answer five minutes later with a goal from George Dimock. The Sewer Rats would answer much quicker than Vudoo and would get a goal from Evgeny Nikitin two minutes later to retake their lead.

The second period would start like the first one with a goal from Eric Vogt at 9:56. Vudoo would answer that one in 20 seconds with a goal from Ray Ziesse. Vudoo would then tie the game up thanks to a goal by Kurt Seidel. The period would end tied.

The third period would start like the previous two... with an early Eric Vogt goal. Most of the period would be quiet. Vudoo would take a timeout to try and rattle the comfort of the Sewer Rats at 2:13, and rattle it did. James "Ooo a piece of candy" Woods-Corwin would score a goal with 1:10 remaining to tie the game. The Sewer Rats would take a timeout immediately following that goal to kill the momentum from the goal.

The game would go to the shootout and the Sewer Rats would go down the victors.
