Ooff! Improves to 5-0

The Vudoo were looking to pull into a tie for fourth place in this game, but they would be taking on undefeated Ooff! George Dimock put the Vudoo ahead two minutes into the game, but the lead would not last as Ooff! tied the game two minutes later. The score remained even at one until the end of the first.

Chris Fagan scored two minutes into the second period to put Ooff! ahead, and they did not look back. Within the next two minutes and twenty seconds, Ooff! scored twice more as Ed Laban and Milton Solis made it 4-1. Pete Peterson brought Vudoo right back though, scoring twice in a span of only nine seconds to make this a one goal game once more. They would get no closer though as Nicole Terpak scored 21 seconds later to make it 5-3. Before the period ended, Terpak scored her second goal of the game and Rich Hernandez made it 8-3. Peterson completed a hat trick, but he would need more help if the Vudoo were to make a comeback in this one, entering the third period down 8-4.

Four and a half minutes into the third, Charlie Amann scored to make this a five-goal game, and then added another goal 40 seconds afterwards. With the score at 10-4, Ooff! focused on defense the rest of the way. They prevented Vudoo from chipping away at the lead as they left the ice still undefeated, now 25% of the way through their season. The Vudoo looks to fare better against the Sewer Rats on Sunday while Ooff! has a big game coming up against the second place Rink Rats next Wednesday.
