Peterson Shuts Out Ooff! to Put Vudoo Back in Second Place

The Vudoo would need a win in this game to move back ahead of the Puck Pimps for second place while Ooff! came in hungry for their first win of the season. Will Dimock scored four minutes in to put the Vudoo ahead, and he would score another about four minutes later. Pete Peterson turned all Ooff! shots away as the Vudoo took a 2-0 lead into the second period.

The second period continued to be a defensive battle with neither team willing to give an inch. The Vudoo were kept from expanding their lead as Dean Bogner and the Ooff! defense did an outstanding job against the Vudoo's powerful offense, but Peterson made sure that the Vudoo would score no goals of their own as the score remained 2-0 after two periods. Five minutes into the third, Dimock would complete a hat trick as the only player capable of beating either goalie in this game. The Vudoo played great defense in front of the flawless Peterson as they held on to preserve the shutout and move back into second place. They will take on the Rink Rats next while the Ooff! prepares to wrap up their first PTAHL regular season against the Pterodactyls, where a win could move them ahead of the Pterodactyls for sixth place.
