Godon's Hat Trick Helps Vudoos Crush Pterodactyls

The stands were packed with all two of the Pterodactyls' faithful as they welcomed captain Dave "Bane" Hutchins back to the ice, now equipped with a custom-made intimidating face mask. Unfortunately, these intimidation tactics did not faze the Vudoo as James Woods-Corwin and Tom Godon put their team ahead 2-0 late in the first. However, rookie Tom Miles scored in the final minute to cut the lead in half.

Woods-Corwin added a short-handed goal about halfway through the second while the Pterodactyls continued to struggle to score goals. A minute into the third, Ray Ziesse scored to increase the lead to three goals. It remained 4-1 for much of the third. The Pterodactyls battled hard to get back in this game, but they were unable to do so as errant passes riddled them throughout the contest. Godon scored with three minutes to go, and then added another goal thirty seconds later to complete a hat trick. Pat "Crack Your Back" Mack added a tally with a minute to go, sealing a monstrous 7-1 win for the Pterodactyls, who are anxiously awaiting the return of Kyle Argent. They will take on the Puck Pimps next as the Vudoo continue battling for first place when they meet the Biohazards, who have been on fire lately.
