Godon, MacLean Score Hat Tricks as Vudoo Crushes 'Dactyls The last time these teams met, the Vudoo scraped by with a slim victory, but this game would go much more in their favor. Neither team was able to get on the board until late in the first when Tom Godon opened the scoring, and Pat Mack followed up as Pete Peterson kept the Pterodactyls off the board to send the Vudoo into the second with a 2-0 lead. Eleven seconds into the third, Ray Ziesse increased the lead to three goals, but Davy “Gravy” Hutchins brought it back down to two just seconds later. However, Jim Schwanda made it 4-1 a minute afterwards, and then the Vudoo took complete control of this game. Brian MacLean scored with nine and a half minutes to go in the third, and then Godon and Ziesse scored again fifteen seconds apart a few minutes later to make it 7-1. Two minutes later, MacLean scored again, and Godon completed a hat trick shortly afterwards. MacLean completed a hat trick in the final minute of the period to open up a huge 10-1 lead as the Vudoo scored seven straight in the second period. The Pterodactyls were able to slow down the Vudoo in the third, but they remained incapable of scoring their own goals until Scott Brady put one in with five minutes to go. James Woods-Corwin scored in the final minute, sending the Vudoo off with a monstrous 11-2 win. They will take on the Puck Pimps next while the Pterodactyls hope to bounce back against the Rink Rats.
